IX Governance

Rules, craton charters, community structure

Structure

Inference-X uses a craton system — stable geographic "cores" each with their own admin and community.

Current cratons:

Craton Region Admin
Anti-Atlas North Africa / Morocco anti-atlas-admin
Amazonian South America amazonian-admin
Baltica Northern Europe baltica-admin
China East Asia china-admin
Congo Central Africa congo-admin
Dharwar South Asia dharwar-admin

Core Rules

  1. Privacy first — no telemetry, no tracking, ever
  2. Zero cloud dependency — the engine must work offline
  3. Any hardware — never optimize for one vendor
  4. Open core — BSL 1.1, converts to Apache 2.0 after 4 years
  5. Community over company — cratons own their regional governance

Decision making

  • Bug fixes and improvements: PR + review
  • Feature additions: discussion in forum → craton vote → merge
  • Protocol changes: RFC process
